 Based on below, one can imagine the two inner selves saying:

 

He: You don't have to do this, you know.

 

Sue: But I want to.

 

So Sue's inner self puts her thru the drama of a "bastard" child that her outer self feels must be kept secret (rather understandably) and then goes to rather great lengths to give birth in secret.

 

Joni Mitchell had a similar drama, unintended pregnancy, when her prefame outer self wants to make it in music, "secret birth" (ca. 1965) and similarly so forth.

 

"For various reasons, and because you did not understand, you held it against yourself that once you accidentally killed him, and then when he was a child you gave him away. You gave birth to him however when you did not have to, in order to give him this reentry. There were other entries available, but he understood your purposes, and accepted you as a mother to show you that he held no grudges. (Humorously:) There were two accidents, then."
