Seth: Nature is man’s caretaker; or that man exists, physically speaking, as the result of the graceful support of nature and all of its other species (and Dr Hsu)
Seth: You must identify with the larger portion of your self.
[Brad said he felt immobilized — an inertia.]
Seth: Now. My prescription immediately is to think in terms of motion. Do not say again, "I think in terms of immobility." Instead, immediately change your imaginative image of yourself. You must and you can do this. You must first change your image in your imagination and act upon it immediately. You must refuse, and absolutely refuse, to accept any more excuses from…

This article is excerpted from Dr. Hsu TienSheng’s Book ~ The Magic Of Believing, translated by Bentley Lee.
"Please note, that what you read here is based on my own limited command of the English language. It is my primary interest to show Western readers that there is much interest in the Seth materials among people in the East and that Dr. Hsu continues to be a strong advocate of how to utilize the Seth teachings in daily life. He writes in the Chinese language and please understand that although I try to the best of my ability to translate accurately into English, I may not always be totally correct." Bentley Lee
Seth says, "Man likes to think of himself as the caretaker of nature and the world. It is closer to the truth, however, to say — in that regard, at least — that nature is man’s caretaker; or that man exists, physically speaking, as the result of the graceful support of nature and all of its other species."
The reason why nature possesses that stunning beauty is because the nature is the emergence of the solemnity, sacredness and greatness of our soul. Modern people have not felt the essence of their soul for a long time.
Many people desire to be in contact with nature. You either love the mountains or the water, the plants or the animals, the flowers or the grass. Many people are eager to connect with nature in various ways, because nature is the larger mind of you and me, and nature itself is full of spirituality.
If we can appreciate the essence of nature, you can even enter the state of cessation aging mentioned in Seth's philosophy, because your mind will always remain young and your connection with nature will be closer.
You cannot have good health if you do not know your own greater mind, let me repeat, you cannot have joy if you do not know your own greater mind.
It is not only the consciousness that exists within the skin that is our consciousness, it is not only the air that exists outside the skin that is the air. Everything that exists outside the skin is also you, and the ground you are treading on is also you, and these are our greater consciousnesses.
Human beings need collective enlightenment, and human beings need to open up their consciousness at the conscious level. You need to really feel that you are not just you inside the physical body - the wind is you, the land is you, the river is you; you need to really feel that that mountain is not actually someone else's mountain, that mountain is you, you are a mountain.
You wouldn't use a syringe to inject poison into your body, but you would discharge poisonous water into a river because you feel it's none of your business, because everyone locks their consciousness in their body and everyone lives in a narrow framework of ego. I have always stressed that humanity must expand, that human consciousness must be enlightened, and collective enlightenment must be achieved.
One day, your consciousness must expand to the point that you feel it fundamentally: the land is your flesh and blood, and the earth is an embodiment of you. You are not just you living inside your body, but everything outside of your body is also you.
Let's expand our consciousness and learn to feel the earth as our own larger body, realizing that you are not just you inside your physical body, but everything outside of it is also you.
Seth tells us, "As creatures you are a part of nature."
The whole of humanity must open their mind at the level of consciousness. Your consciousness is not limited to your physical body. Sooner or later you will have to lose this physical body, and sooner or later your consciousness has to leave the physical body on the day of your die.
But it is not only on the day of your demise that your consciousness can leave the body. The consciousness can leave at any time, it may leave when you doze off my dear !
When you are in waking state, always expand your consciousness until you can understand that you are not just you in this physical body, but the consciousness itself can feel the mystery of the universe.
The expansion of the consciousness is that everyone has to begin to feel the earth is your greater self, the consciousness is not confined to the body and consciousness is not limited to the body. However, humans in the past have been shrinking and narrowing themselves, binding themselves to this skin we are made of flesh and blood.
Let us open our
hearts, not only to see nature with our eyes, but to see nature with an enlightened heart. You have to feel the wind and rain with an enlightened heart, and you have to feel the difference in life in a way of expanding your consciousness.
When you begin to feel this, all your pain caused by the narrowness of your ego will disappear. Your whole horizon will open up, and even for you time will no longer be an issue. Just as the rose is as beautiful every spring, it has not become older.
All the personal pain, whether it is the pain of marriage or the pain of the future, all the bottlenecks of your life, all your sorrows, frustrations... all these will be dissolved. Because you have been able to connect with your inner mind, because you have begun to realize that the inner mind is the
heart of nature, and your heart will become at ease.
