This year, Governor Evers appointed yet another self-described AVID hunter/trapper to head up the DNR killing business. They plan to MURDER 4,600 innocent peaceful black bears over packs of dogs and bait this fall. I presented a resolution for change to end just the bear hounding - quoting the former chair of the Natural Resources Board who stated, after leaving office, that he received the most complaints from citizens about bear hounding trespass, dogs and armed men threatening their children, pets and livestock. He said he had decided it was just animal abuse.
