Hi Folks,

I just saw this article from the Guardian yesterday, and here is the most poignant quote I pulled from it.

"Even from inside the FBI, an anonymous agent has publicly warned that the domestic counter-terrorism strategy could switch from inquiries against the hyper-violent far right to leftwing protest movements."

It goes without saying that the FBI abusing left-wing protest movements like Black Lives Matter would be illegal because there is no violent threat coming from them or anyone else from the LEFT.

On the contrary, the drumbeat of domestic terrorism and violence has almost without exception come from right-wing groups.

As always when it comes to MAGA double speak, "every accusation is an admission."

What does this mean for us here in Wisconsin?

We have to get over the hump and start believing that the worst case scenario about what Trump will do as President will come true. He will abandon the rule of law and turn us into something that looks like Nazi Germany, and will start illegally persecuting those that stand in his way--with the help of the richest men in America.
We have to organize to stop that from happening NOW. Wisconsin is not the center of gravity in America so we probably won't see abuses here before they start happening in Washington DC, which gives us a little more time to ORGANIZE.
We have to stop REACTING and instead become PROACTIVE in dealing with what we know will happen.

So what can you do?

First: Join me on this Zoom Call tonight, March 12, at 7-pm for a resistance update. I'll update everyone on our progress and answer questions.

We’re particularly looking to fill the following volunteer roles:

Regional Leads (4- 6 people) – Help organize volunteers by region.
Power Mapping Leads (2- 3 people) Tracks bad government actors.
Citizen Journalism Lead (2- 3 people) - Manages training & video storage.
Media & Exposure Team (3- 4 people) - Manages social media and relationships with progressive media to disseminate video.

Third: We're taking the lead here from Indivisble, and amplifying their call to protest Tesla Dealerships. The further that Tesla's stock falls, the more it hurts Musk, and that seems to be a good tactic while we organize to become more proactive. Here's the activities we've heard about in Madison, Wisconsin, but of course, if you're not here, go ahead and protest your nearest dealership.

I believe that what we're doing here is replicable in other states, and ultimately needs to be folded into a national strategy.

I'm leaning on the national organization called "Indivisible" to become that group, but we're still working to fully connect.
