Rep. Eric Burlison Pushes for Release of UAP Orb Videos and Access to Alleged Egg-Shaped Craft

The Missouri congressman says investigators are pursuing evidence held by private contractors, including videos of anomalous orbs and reports involving an alleged egg-shaped craft.

Rep. Eric Burlison says recent government disclosure efforts on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) are only the beginning of a much larger investigation.

During an interview with NewsNation reporter Joe Khalil, the Missouri congressman said that while recent releases of UAP-related files and videos represent progress, much of the material made public so far consists of “low-hanging fruit” that had already circulated widely or been attributed to conventional explanations.

According to Burlison, the next stage of investigation will require obtaining testimony under oath from individuals who claim knowledge of UAP programs and pursuing records held by private contractors and federally funded research organizations.

“We’ve heard a lot of really outrageous stories and testimonies from people,” Burlison said. “But I want to see the receipts.”

One area of particular interest involves reports and evidence allegedly held by organizations such as MIT Lincoln Laboratory, MITRE, RAND, and other research entities. Burlison said his team has received tips from insiders and is pursuing specific documents, photographs, and video files.

Among the most intriguing evidence he described are videos showing what he characterized as glowing orbs.

“Most of what has not been released that to me is the really mysterious thing are the glowing orbs,” Burlison said. He described them as “balls of plasma” that appear to move intelligently, sometimes hovering motionless without visible means of propulsion before accelerating suddenly.

While he believes such footage would significantly advance public understanding of the phenomenon, Burlison stopped short of calling it definitive proof of extraterrestrial technology.

“When I see those videos, I can’t tell you this is clearly from another planet,” he said, adding that the footage nevertheless depicts something unfamiliar and difficult to explain. He also expressed confidence that at least some of the orb videos will eventually be released to the public.

Burlison also addressed one of the more extraordinary claims circulating within UAP discussions: reports of an alleged egg-shaped craft said to be in government possession.

When asked what single piece of evidence he would most like to see, the congressman did not hesitate.

“A lot of the people that have talked about interacting with these egg-shaped craft that we have in our possession—I want to see the craft,” Burlison said.

He went further, referencing accounts from individuals who allegedly entered such a craft and experienced missing time.

“We’ve heard people that have claimed that they’ve gone into it and they’ve lost time. I want to go into the craft. I want to see for myself. Again, I’m from Missouri. You’re going to have to show me.”

Despite his interest in extraordinary claims, Burlison repeatedly emphasized the need for firsthand evidence and verifiable documentation.

Looking ahead, he said investigators must focus on obtaining records, interviewing witnesses under oath, and determining what information may be held by private-sector organizations outside traditional government channels.

Burlison also argued that concerns about public panic may not be the primary reason for decades of secrecy. Instead, he suggested governments may be reluctant to acknowledge that they do not fully understand certain objects operating in restricted airspace.

Ultimately, he believes the issue should be treated first and foremost as a national security matter. The release of additional orb footage, access to underlying evidence, and greater transparency from both government agencies and contractors remain among the next steps he hopes to see pursued.
