👋 Dear Mark M,
Most of the time we have no sense that we are forming the physical world around us. The chair feels solid and independent. The pen simply “is.” The room appears already there.
According to Seth, every object we encounter is the result of energy we organized into a recognizable pattern. We are doing this constantly — not with the ordinary, surface portion of the mind that plans our day, but through deeper layers of expectation, attention, and belief that operate largely outside our usual awareness.
In other words: we are already master manipulators of energy. We simply do most of the work beneath the threshold of normal consciousness. The physical universe is not a fixed stage set waiting for us. It is a living construction we continuously participate in creating, even when we have no conscious memory of giving the instructions.
This is why the world of solid objects is so valuable. They let us practice placing energy with precision while still having the comfort of tangible results. This gives us clear, observable feedback so that what has been automatic creation can become more conscious. Seth speaks to this training process directly.
💬 Quote of the Week
'Your world of physical objects is quite important, in that because it allows you to deal with differentiations, to pinpoint energy where you want it while giving you an observable physical effect, so that this training can carry over in other realities in which the same kind of physical feedback is not available, is subsidiary, or is otherwise not as much a part of the camouflage structure.
'Using “real objects” now, you learn to manipulate energy with the models before you, so to speak, gaining confidence so that “later” you can trust yourselves in the use of energy without needing the physical appearance of, say, an object before you.'

🔬 Integration: Perfecting the Craft
Choose a familiar object that you know is in your home right now — an orange, a favorite mug, a particular book, a piece of fruit, or anything simple that you can easily find. Do not go get it yet.
Close your eyes and imagine holding the object in your hands. Feel its weight, temperature, and texture as clearly as you can.
For 30–60 seconds, deliberately change the energy of the object by giving it a clear quality — vitality, strength, creative flow, joy, or whatever quality feels alive to you in the moment.
As you hold the object in your imagination, also sense the molecules within it rearranging themselves to reflect the new energy you are imbuing it with. Notice any subtle feedback: a shift in sensation in your hands or body, a change in how the imagined object feels, a shift in its color or texture, or a change in your own state.
When you are ready, open your eyes, go find the actual object, and study it closely. Notice what, if anything, feels different — in the object itself, in the way you perceive it, or in the quality of your own attention as you look at it.
This simple sequence lets you practice molding energy first without the physical model present, then return to the real object to observe the results. In this way you begin training the confidence in your ability to work with energy even when the solid form is not in front of you.
