Friend, we wanted to make sure you saw this email. Yesterday, we told you the president added $1.4 billion to his personal wealth through crypto deals his own administration shielded from enforcement. If that made you as angry as it made us, here’s your chance to do something about it. We know you're infuriated by the president's self-dealing and frustrated by how the administration is abetting his corruption. But you don't need to feel powerless. Congress can close this loophole, but we need to force it to act.

He said nobody cared. Every email to Congress says otherwise. Thank you for refusing to accept the corruption as just the way it is. Presidential and vice presidential profiteering should be illegal and we can make that happen.

Our government is supposed to work for you, Friend. Not to make the person at the top richer. And certainly not to cover his back when he is not protecting the public’s interest.
President Donald Trump added $1.4 billion to his personal wealth last year from cryptocurrency ventures: businesses he launched just before taking office — and in an industry he has aggressively shielded from enforcement and personally promoted.
Far from probing the president’s self-dealing, his administration is enabling it. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which should be investigating this, appears to be sidestepping a glaringly conflicted deal with AI Financial Corporation (formerly Alt5 Sigma) that netted the president and his family an estimated $500 million. |
