Push for the bipartisan Restore Trust in Congress Act
The Senate heard you

Yesterday, you made the Senate listen.
You’re tired of watching members of Congress profit from information you’ll never have. You shouldn’t have to wonder whether your representatives are working for you or for their financial portfolios. So when a sham stock trading bill came up for a vote, you emailed, called, and shared. And then the Senate voted it down.
That win is yours.
At POGO, we’ve spent decades exposing conflicts of interest in government, and we know a win like this can fade fast if no one follows through.
Here’s the plan to keep that from happening:
- We keep pushing for the bipartisan Restore Trust in Congress Act, a real ban on congressional stock trading without the loopholes.
- We work with our allies to keep the pressure on Senate leaders to bring it up for a vote.
If we don’t keep going, members of Congress will keep trading stocks while writing the laws that move markets. If we keep pushing, we can finally trust that public office is for public service, not private gain.
Thank you for using your voice.
