Mark, for years I have dealt with insane lies and conspiracy theories about my life from Trump and Republicans. These spread like wildfire among the far-right media and their MAGA base.
They say I married my own brother. Or that I committed financial fraud. Or that I’m hiding a secret fortune. Or that I’m actually an “illegal immigrant.”
For a long time, I didn’t want to dignify these claims with a response. I didn’t want to waste my breath debunking every lie that pops into Trump or JD Vance’s head.
But I want you to take a look at this new reporting from The Washington Post:

Every detail that has come out recently has made it abundantly clear that the administration's escalations are purely partisan moves meant to intimidate progressives like me and throw red meat to their base as we approach the midterms on November 3rd.
Our job is to stand strong against these fascist intimidation tactics and organize harder than ever to sweep MAGA out of power in Congress and begin the work of investigating Trump and his allies for their corruption, self-enrichment, and abuse of power.
